Assistant Sales Progressor

The Sales Progressor oversees the task of moving sales from reservation stage through to contract exchange and completion and drives for this to happen in the shortest possible timescale, whilst giving a high level of service to our customers. They also provide back office support for the head-office based Sales and Marketing department as well as assisting the Company’s site-based Sales Advisors.

Principal accountabilities of the role:

  • Help ensure that correct communication is being maintained between nominated solicitor and the customers’ solicitor to strive to get to contract exchange by the specified reservation expiry date.
  • Act as a liaison between the Company’s Sales Advisors and Lenders/Brokers/Estate Agents so that all stakeholders are adequately informed as to the progress of each individual sale in the sales pipeline.
  • Responsibility for identifying and resolving potential delays, solving problems, and finding ways to streamline processes for faster exchange/completions.
  • Act as an additional point of contact to our customers to guide them through the contract/completion process and in particular assisting those customers who may not be familiar with the legal terminology.
  • Ensure that our customers are given the highest service levels possible at all times.
  • Resolve any ad-hoc or minor queries that may not necessarily need to be directed to the legal team, allowing the conveyancers to focus on more complex enquiries and achieve a prompt exchange of contracts/completion.
  • Ensure Sales Advisors provide accurate, regular updates (at least weekly).
  • Legal/site set up - reviewing contract and TP1 and providing feedback, arranging the legal pre-start and pre-empting replies to enquiries which may be raised.
  • Attending and contributing to weekly Construction and Sales Meetings or as required.
  • Raising purchase order numbers for all jobs within the Sales and Marketing department, at point of instruction for works to be completed.
  • Assisting in the preparation of sales reports and presentations for Senior Managers’ review.
  • Taking and distributing meeting minutes from the weekly Sales meeting – recording interest so this can then be tracked.
  • Monitoring stock plots across developments and informing Customer Care of any updates.
  • Ordering stationary for Sales Advisors and ensuring these items are delivered to developments in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with the IT provider in a timely manner to ensure any technical issues are dealt with.

Experience

  • Experience of working in a role within a property conveyancing setting is highly desirable
  • Experience of working as a Sales Progressor for a residential house builder is desirable

Skills and Aptitude

  • Effective negotiation and sales skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
  • IT literate with the ability to adapt to new systems and be pro-active in finding solutions to improving existing applications

This role will evolve as the business expands and responsibilities may change from time to time.

Full time: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00
Salary £25,000 - £30,000 with commission
Location: Poole, Dorset, relocating to Wimborne, Dorset by end 2025

We will also contribute towards your Estate Agent fees, helping to make your move into a new Wyatt home as hassle free as possible, so you can sit back and relax. Wyatt Homes may hold the plot for 4 weeks while your house is on the market.

Reserve your Wyatt home

Once you have agreed an offer on your own home, you will be invited by the Sales Advisor to reserve your new home and complete the paperwork.

Move into your dream Wyatt Home

When your Wyatt Home is ready, we will simply hand over your keys!

You will be offered 48 hours to decide whether you would like to proceed to officially reserving the plot. Should you choose to proceed with the purchase, you will be invited to book in your Reservation appointment. No further fee is required at this stage
