We were thrilled to receive a request from Mrs Kelly Webb, the Wimborne Mayor, and Town Councillors to visit our new development Rivers edge and the show home. They attended on 8th October 2021 to meet with the Wyatt Homes team.
Mrs Kelly Webb, Mayor of Wimborne commented:
'As a Town Council, we believe it is important to understand how our Town is expanding and changing and have enjoyed site visits to new developments to understand the sites more. Mr Wyatt generously welcomed a number of Town Councillors to the show home on Julian’s Road last week and explained how the site will develop in the various phases and what the eventual landscaping will look like. We very much appreciated the opportunity to take a look around and ask questions that many of our residents would be interested in.’
Rivers Edge is a collection of 203 2-to-6-bedroom homes, of varying sizes, and will be constructed across five phases over the coming years. It’s set to be a highly desirable space to live, with access to natural green areas being at the heart of the developments design, this includes picturesque walks provided along the River Stour and dedicated Green Space (SANGS) and to wider countryside routes. The new tree lined avenue will lead to views of the towers of Wimborne Minster and pedestrian and cycle routes will lead to the town centre.
With the land originally being used by Wimborne Town Football Club, Wyatt Homes relocated the football grounds to an area adjacent to the recently completed ‘Saxonbury’ development off Leigh Road and Parmiter Drive. The new facility provides two pitches, spectator stands to FA standard (national grade category C), a club house and parking.
Phase 1 of the Rivers Edge development features 14 stunning apartments, with interest in the last remaining apartment. Phase 2 has received a fantastic amount of interest, with over 50% of these award-winning homes now reserved.

You will be offered 48 hours to decide whether you would like to proceed to officially reserving the plot. Should you choose to proceed with the purchase, you will be invited to book in your Reservation appointment. No further fee is required at this stage

All you need to do is complete a short form and give it to your friend to hand to one of our Sales Advisors upon their first visit to a Wyatt Homes Development. If your recommendation results in the purchase of a Wyatt Home we will give you £500.

We’re so pleased you love your new home. If you know someone who is considering moving and they have not already registered with us, please ask your Sales Advisor for a Recommend a Friend form and send it to your friend/family member to complete. They will need to take along with them on their first visit to meet our Sales Advisors.
